A Rare Victorian Ebonized Papier-Mâché Mother-of-Pearl Inlaid, Gilded and Paint-Decorated Cabinet, mid-19th c., a hinged top centered by a view of Windsor Castle in reserve, and further embellished with floral arabesques and rinceaux, the interior lined in velvet, the frieze with Greek key border, the glazed doors set between convex sides decorated with vintage motifs and gilded tablets enclosing floral bouquets, on a molded plinth bordered by mother-of-pearl, height 47 1/4 in., width 65 3/4 in., depth 21 in.
