  • Notes: Note: A closely related table, attributed to William Wilkinson, sold at Christie's, London, March 24, 2004, lot #211, and also featured a single frieze and telescopic extension mechanism. Wilkinson, working in the late 18th and early 19th c., specialized in patent tables, including extension dining tables. The extension mechanism relates to Richard Gillow's "Imperial" dining table, patented in 1800 Ref. Margaret Jourdain. Regency Furniture. pp. 64-65.
