A Sèvres-Style Porcelain Lidded Urn, 19th c., extensive foliate gilt decoration over cafe-au-lait ground, opposing reserves with birds in a landscape, Pan mask handles, height 13 3/4 in., width 7 1/2 in., depth 6 in.; together with a Sevres-style porcelain urn, lacking lid. Note: Breaks and repairs to both.
Provenance: Adaline Houghton Hooper, Montgomery and Selma, AL, c. 1920s; to Charles Ward Hooper, Jr. (d. 2011); to present owner.
