A Sino Tibetan Polychrome Bronze Seated Figure, 19th c., probably Guanyin, the figure depicted seated in dhyanasana on a waisted double lotus pedestal with the right hand in tarjani mudra (the gesture of warding off evil) and the left hand holding a kalasha (vase of immortality), wearing an elaborate head veil, finely detailed robes and a large beaded necklace, the face with a serene expression, bearing a spurious Xuande (1426-1435) six character mark en verso, height 18 in., width 11 in.
