A Southern Coin Silver and Wrought Iron Buckle, probably for knee breeches, mark of John Winckler (1730-1803) or John Winckler, Jr. (1775-1854), 1 3/4 in. x 1 1/8 in Note: Silversmith John Winckler worked in Charleston, SC 1761-1763; in Raleigh, NC 1771-1778; and in Mecklenburg County, VA 1778-1803.
