A Staffordshire Figural Group, Romulus and Remus, c. 1820, depicting two naked boys playing at the flanks of the she-wolf, a bird perched on her back, all on spaghetti moss and flower decorated rocky ledge before a floral and leafy tree bocage, fully molded and painted, inscribed, "Romulus and Remus", verso, height 8.5in., condition: repair to one of the boys' feet, tiny nick to bird's tail, otherwise excellent.
