A Very Fine English Mahogany, Ormolu-Mounted and Marble-Topped Bibliotheque, late 19th c., in the Louis XVI taste, London, the lockplates signed Cope & Collinson, the molded rectilinear cornice above a frieze containing pierced gilt-bronze fluted and beaded panels the four bevelled glass doors sided by inset brass flutes, the lower case with four panelled doors bordered by gilt-bronze moldings, the turned legs ending in large thimble sabots, height 79.5in., width 73. 5in., depth 11 in.
