A New Orleans Coin Silver Coffee Pot, Adolph Himmel (1825/6-1877) for Hyde & Goodrich, 1853-1861, marked "H", "HYDE & GOODRICH" in arc, "MANUFACTURERS" and "NEW ORLEANS" in arc; pear form with scroll handle, domed cover with floral finial, repousse cartouche engraved "Randolph/1854)", applied foot with stylized band, height 9 1/2 in., weight 24.55 troy ozs Reference: Crescent City Silver. pp. 41-55. An identical footrim is found on a teaset illustrated p. 43.
