After Albrecht Dürer (German, 1471-1528), "The Adoration of the Magi", wood engraving, initialed in the plate and dated 1511, with large margins (though with intermediate fading line; and apparently early watermark (Hauseman 45), as well as collector's stamp "K.S." (Lugt 1644) for Karl Scheffler (Austrian, 1838-1911); this print said to be from his posthumous sale, Frankfurt, 1920; sheet 16 in. x 12 1/4 in., image 11 3/8 in. x 8 9/16 in., unframed.
