After Giovanni Battista Piranesi (Italian, 1720-1778), a set of five etchings from Vasi, Candelabri, e Cippi, (Rome, 1778), composed of two vases, one candelabrum, one marble trireme on an ornamental pedestal, and a marble tripod of smaller format, plate 26 in. x 16 3/8 in.; the smaller plate sight 20 5/8 in. x 15 in., identically framed in ebonized wood with details in silver gilt, the tripod with faux marbre frame.
