Albrecht Dürer (German, 1471-1528), "The Penance of Saint Chrysostomus, c. 1497", copper engraving on period paper, later impression from the original plate, late 16th/early 17th c., monogrammed in plate lower center, illegibly inscribed in ink en verso, with "Milwaukee Art Center" and "Besler Eitel" labels en verso, Bartsch 53, 7 1/8 in. x 4 5/8 in., attractively matted and framed.
