A Good American Federal Mahogany Sideboard, c. 1800, Baltimore, fitted with original brass pulls bails stamped "HJ" for Thomas Hands & William Jenkins, Birmingham, England; shaped bowfront top, conforming case with a central drawer over doors flanked by doors, square tapered legs, height 41 in., width 72 in., depth 20 1/2 in Note: The case of this sideboard relates to that of a sideboard believed to be from Brinkley House near Marion, Maryland and now conserved by the Maryland Historical Society (acc. 73.110.1).
