An American Gothic Carved and Laminated Rosewood and Rosewood Grained Etagere, c. 1850, probably New York, reticulated crest, spire finials, octagonal bracket shelves, mirror back, low marble shelf, ring-turned legs, height 81 in., width 33 in., depth 13 1/2 in Note: Almost identical Etagere is conserved in the Brooklyn Museum (acc. no. 76.101) and another from the Lee B. Anderson Collection was sold at Doyle, New York, September 19, 2012 as lot 1233.
