American School, 19th Century "Pair of Portraits of Frazor and Sarah Wilson Titus", oil on canvas, unsigned, 30in. x 25in. oval, in original oval giltwood frames; together with a funeral notice for Mary E. Titus Edmondson, wife of James Howard Edmondson, on June 6th, 1855 E1500-2500 Provenance: Titus-Edmonson Family, Memphis, Tennessee Note: Louisa Edmondson Titus, the first wife of Frazor Titus, died before this pair of portraits could be completed. Titus' second wife, Sarah, sat for the portrait's completion.
