E400/600 Note: JohnEverett Barrow was influential in the opening of the American West. He held the Government contract for delivery of mail from Independence MO. to Stockton, CA. and represented the Government in various capacities including Indian Land Agent for the Omaha Ofeon, Missouri and Pawnee tribes.
