An American Carved Oak Curio Cabinet, late 19th c., attributed to Tobey Furniture Company, Chicago, the case with incurvate beveled glass panels flanking a central glazed door, stiles with Renaissance trumpeters on volutes, shelf interior, height 69 in., width 59 in., depth 20 in.
- Notes: Note: The massive paw feet on this cabinet are identical to those on an oak corner table labeled by Tobey Furniture Company for the Montana Governors Mansion, now conserved by the Montana Historical Society. Reference: Darling, Chicago Furniture, Art Craft and Industry 1833-1983, p. 193.
