An American Carved Rosewood Sidechair in the Elizabethan Taste, c. 1850, the shell-form crest over padded back flanked by blocked twist stiles, the trapezoidal over upholstered seat on blocked twist front legs joined by carved stretchers, now lacking upholstery, birch secondary wood, height 45.125in.
