An American Classical Carved Mahogany Drop-Leaf Work Table, c. 1824- 1826, attributed to Ruben Burdon, Providence, R.I., the drawers raised on a turned acanthus carved pedestal over arched acanthus carved legs ending in hairy paw feet, height 29 in., width 17.5in., depth 18 in. Reference: A similar table is illustrated in Israel Sack Collection, vol. II, plate 1351.
