Richard" (probably for Hovel Richard), and dated, segmented bookmatched top, paneled frieze fitted with drawer, acanthine standard and legs, paw feet, casters, height 28 in., diameter 23 1/2 in. Note: Hovel Richard is listed in The Philadelphia Directory and Register for 1821 as a cabinetmaker at 5 Shield's Court
