An American Classical Ebonized and Gilded Pier Table, c. 1830, New York, the original Egyptian marble top above a plain frieze with gilt molding, boldly carved and gilded columnar supports topped by Ionic capitals and ending in gilt collars, pilasters to the rear flanking the original mirror plate, the incurvate plinth with gilt stringing, raised on melon shaped and foliate-carved gilded feet, height 39 in., width 41 in., depth 21 in.
