An American Classical Giltwood Pier Mirror, c. 1825-1830, probably New York, the original beveled mirror plates within a cavetto molded frame, the upper mirror plate with a Cupid's bow outline, the lower plate rectangular, the frame decorated with acanthus, shells, and foliate scrolls, height 62 in., width 30 in. E1800-2500 Note: Old pencil inscription en verso references newsprint dated 1828, original surface and backboards.
