An American Classical Mahogany Double Door Armoire, c. 1815-20, cove-molded cornice, the paired paneled doors with opposing grain, a fluted center panel attached to the left door, retaining cypress shelves and medial belt (with two drawers missing), a beaded lower drawer, tapering reeded legs ending in ball feet, height 90in., width58in., depth 22in. Of particular interest are catalogue numbers 54 and 56, both of which also have tapering reeded legs ending in brass ball feet.
