An American Federal Pine "Sugar Desk" on Stand, c. 1830-40, probably central Tennessee, slant lid with small gallery to the rear, opening to drawers and compartments, the molded base with long drawer, scalloped apron, on square tapered legs, retains traces of old red stain, height 34 1/2 in., width 38 in., depth 21 1/2 in.
