An American Frosted and Clear Pressed Glass Dolphin Standard Compote, c. 1850, probably by Bakewell, Pears, and Co., having a clear shell- form bowl, height 9.5 in., length 10.5 in. together with an American fiery opalescent white glass compote, c. 1840-50, the scalloped-edge bowl and base having flutes and ribs, the two separated by a waisted paneled stem, height 9 in., diameter 9.5 in.
