An American Late Classical Mahogany Library Armchair c. 1845-1855, carved crest, molded crest rail, tall shaped padded back, scrolled arms in the French manner, reeded baluster front legs ending in brass cuffs and casters, height 43 in. Provenance: Purchased in the early 1970's from Sacred Heart Academy by an alumnus, to the current owner.
