An American Late Classical Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, c. 1810-20, Baltimore, the molded cornice with an inset arch frieze over a pair of glazed doors with anthemion mullions, reeded stiles; the lower case with a gothicized full-front secretaire drawer with fitted interior of birdseye maple, the colonettes flanking paneled cabinet doors below, a blocked plinth on carved scroll feet (reduced), height 103.5in., width 46.5in., depth 23.5in.
