An American Late Classical Rosewood Work Table, c. 1830-1845, New York, in the manner of Alexander Roux, the hinged top bordered by lotus leaves, opening to a satinwood-lined interior, now lacking the mirror plate, the convex frieze with a blind drawer above a drawer fitted with a velvet-lined writing surface, the spiral-turned supports resting on acanthine scroll base, note: lacking bag drawer, height 31in., width 22in., depth 16in.
