An American Neo-Grec Ebonized Side Table in the Egyptian Taste, c. 1865, original inset marble top, red incised Greek key border, the frieze with incised lappets, the delicate and intricate finialed stem joined by bracket supports above a flattened urn, the canted legs carved with leaves, joined by stretchers terminating in hoof feet, profusely ornamented with gilt incising, in original state, height 31 in., diameter 20 in.
