An American Oak, Wicker and Rattan Fern Stand, c. 1885, labeled "Heywood Brothers", Garner, Massachusetts, the circular top with beaded edge above a beaded woven frieze, the legs displaying scrolls and linked hearts with chains of beaded swags, the stretcher shelf joined by volutes on outswept legs ending in brass feet, in original condition, height 32 in., depth 16 in.

  • Notes: Note: The stand retains an original label with hand-written order number and predates Heywood Brothers' 1897 merger with The Wakefield Rattan Company, after which it became Heywood-Wakefield Co.
