Hooper & Co., Boston, acanthus and grape cluster standard, four scrolled arms fitted with fonts, foliate pendant, period shades, height 29 in., diameter 21 in Note: The body of this chandelier relates to Nos. 360-362 in the 1850s Hooper catalogue. Much in the same way elements of lamp standards appear in varying configuration, the standard of this chandelier can be viewed on a series of other illustrated models, indicating the custom aspects of the lighthing industry.
