An American Renaissance Carved and Gilt-Incised Rosewood Parlour Suite, late 19th c., attributed to John Jelliff, Newark, comprising a settee, armchair and sidechair; the turned crest rail with anthemion finials, and down-scrolled terminals, each with beribonned bronze medallion of a Greek bust, the curved arms ending in female terms, with serpentine seat rails and trumpet shaped legs with casters, traces of gilt incising, settee height 37 1/2 in., width 65 in., depth 21 in.
