An American Renaissance Carved Oak and Elm Armchair, mid-to-late 19th c., attributed to George E. Hixon, Boston, paneled arched back with X-form supports terminating in lions heads, scrolled acanthus arms, X-form legs, turned stretchers, numbered "Š82042".
- Notes: Note: George and Edward Hixon are listed as upholsterers in the 1862 Boston business directory at 172 Washington, Cambridge.
