An American Renaissance Inlaid and Ebonized Walnut Side Table, late 19th c., attributed to Berkey and Gay, Grand Rapids, circular top inset with a musical trophée, burl and floral inlaid banding, bracket supports, turned stem on X-form plinth ending in disc feet, height 29 in., diameter 28 in. Note: A nearly identical inlaid walnut table by Berkey and Gay in the collection of the Grand Rapids Museum is illustrated in Dubrow, American Furniture of the 19th c., p. 194.
