E10000-15000 Note: The facial physiognomy and almond eyes both on the busts flanking the headboard and the fairy figure on the crest of this bed, lot 521, are nearly identical to those seen on many pieces of Jelliff seating furniture, including those on the arm supports of a sofa illustrated in Newark Museum, A Century of Revivals, 1882, p. 45.
