An American Renaissance Walnut Armchair of Impressive Proportions, c. 1865-1875, attributed to Daniel Pabst, Philadelphia, the scrolling foliate relief-carved top rail cresting on a sunflower, the rectangular caned back above projecting arm rests with rosette terminals, the bowed seat frame bordered by molding simulating geometric nailheads, the turned legs clad in fluted leaves, on block feet.
