An American Repousse Coin Silver Footed Bowl, Eoff & Shepard, New York, N.Y., wc. 1852-61, retailed by Henderson & Gaines, New Orleans, Louisiana, floral decorated bulbous bowl with flared scalloped rim, applied cast floral, leaf and twig base and feet, engraved in script "Titus" in scroll reserve, marked on bottom, height 5.25in. diameter 6.25in. weight 15 troy ozs. 11 dwts. E1200-1800 Provenance: Titus- Edmondson Family, Memphis, Tennessee. Family tradition is that this was used as a baptismal font in the family chapel.
