An American Restauration Carved Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, early 19th c., stepped molded cornice, a pair of glazed doors with Gothic arch mullions, adjustable shelves, two molded drawers flanked by scrolled stiles, the base with pull out writing surface above a pair of paneled doors, scrolled stiles ending in scrolled feet, height 91 in., width 47 in., depth 22 1/2 in. Provenance: An old shipping label found with this lot reads ""Mr. Edward R. Finch, 860 Park Avenue, New York City/ dining room, 2nd floor."
