An American Rococo Carved and Laminated Rosewood Center Table, c. 1850, New York, attributed to John and Joseph W. Meeks, a later serpentine marble top, pierce-carved and scrolled apron supported on finely carved serpentine cabriole legs, the arched stretchers centering carved and turned finial and drop in rich dark rosewood finish, note: marble replaced.
