An American Rococo Carved Mahogany Bedstead, c. 1850-1860, stamped "C Lee", the molded headboard with arched panels and foliate scrolls and central cartouche, the paneled posts with massive urn finials adorned with acanthus banding, with conforming rails and foot board, height 76 5/8 in., outside length 84 3/8 in., outside width 74 5/8 in. Note: lacking headboard crest, in "estate" condition.
