An American Rococo Carved Mahogany Full Tester Bed, mid-19th c., probably New Orleans, massive ogee flared tester, tapered columnar posts, arched scroll headboard centered by a foliate cartouche, scalloped rails with fan carved center elements, in a fine state of preservation, height 113 in., inside length 77 in., mattress width 60 in.
- Provenance: Provenance: Descended in the family of Duncan Kenner, reputed to be part of the furnishings of Ashland Plantation.
