An American Rococo Rosewood-Grained Étagère, mid-19th c., probably Cincinnati, the architectonic crest centered by a foliate roundel, mirror back with candle shelves, turned supports, serpentine white marble top, shaped apron, bracket supports with pierced and paneled back, conforming plinth, height 94 in., width 49 1/2 in., depth 18 1/2 in.

  • Provenance: Provenance: Once part of furnishings for The Towers, Natchez, birthplace of George E. Dicks of Natchez and New Orleans (1887-1952), and installed in the foyer of 8 Rosa Park, New Orleans after his marriage to Emily Read Jones in 1922.
