An American Rosewood and Marquetry "Handkerchief" Table, c. 1890, New York, attributed to Herts Bros., the segmented top inlaid with scrolling vines centered by an urn, and opening to a baize-lined playing surface constructed with oval pockets, the frieze containing a drawer, the central reeded supports cornered by the conforming colonettes, the splayed legs bordered with bellflower pendant chains, note tulip poplar secondary wood, height 28in. width 21.5in., depth 21.5in.
