An American 'Spanish Cedar' Painted Poplar Cupboard, late 18th/early 19th c., probably Shenandoah Valley or Eastern Virginia, the molded cornice above glazed and paneled doors, the lower case with drawers above panelled doors with hand-forged rattail hinges, on a scalloped bracket base, retaining much of the original red stain, height 83 in. width 50.5 in., 18.5 in.
