An American Walnut and Burl Walnut "Standard Grade" Wooten Desk, c. 1870, the top above the hinged burled paneled front, the sides and back with molded panels on blocked feet, the whole with Renaissance details and fitted birdseye maple interior, retaining stamped iron fittings, height 613/4 in., width 451/2 in., depth 29 in.; iron plaque stamped 1874, letter box stamped 1870. E8000-10000 Note: The arched burled door panels, maple interior and fluted feet on lot 1106 are similar to those illustrated as a "Standard Grade Cabinet Secretary" in the 1876 Wooten Desk Co. catalog (Indianapolis, Indiana, 1876).
