An Antique Neoclassical Painted Trumeau, probably Italian, verte peinte molded frame, engaged pilasters retain gilt bronze/brass candle holders; canvas reserve depicting Apollo attended by the Nymphs of Thetis, height 63 in., width 42 1/2 in., depth 5 in.
PLEASE NOTE: The monumental sculpture of this subject by Francois Giandon (French, 1628-1715) is housed in the Gardens of Versailles, France.
