An Attractive "Sevres" Porcelain and Gilt Bronze-Mounted Cachepot in the Louis XVI Taste, c. 1875-1890, bleu-celeste ground with a floral reserve on one facade and an allegorical reserve of putti as "The Arts" on the opposing facade, the mounts in the Aesthetic taste and modelled as faux bamboo shoots and leaves, pseudo Sevres mark in underglaze blue on the base, height 9 in., diameter 8 in.
