An Autographed Letter Signed by Jefferson Davis to Andrew Sullivan, Captain of the steamboat Natchez, hand-carried, dated from Briarfield, MS, April 12th, 1886, one small sheet, folded, 6 3/4 in. x 4 1/2 in., with envelope addressed "Mr. Andrew Sullivan / Steamer Natchez / Favor of Mr. Rollins", in part: "I hope to go down with you on your next trip" rather than endure "The fatigue of a trip by the Rail Road".
