An Early and Rare Shearwater Art Pottery "Bacchante" Vase, 1930s, designed and decorated by Walter Inglis Anderson with a motif of Bacchante dancers and grapes, comprised of fourteen figures, gunmetal glaze, base with impressed dime-sized Shearwater stamp and signed "W" by Walter Anderson, height 9 5/8 in.
