Crump, London, 1766-1767, entered 1756, the maker's mark on the body overstruck with an untraced mark, pear-shaped body embellished with Rococo repouss‚ chased flowers and foliage encircling the neck, grotesque bearded mask spout, leaf capped scroll handle, the body with later chased landscape vignettes of villagers drinking and dancing, the lower body with wide fluted band, floral convex band and gadrooned bands below, the circular foot also with chased convex band, width 16 1/4 in., weight 97.45 troy ozs.
