An Elkington Silver, Silverplate, Mother-of-Pearl and Bone Service for Twelve, late 19th c., comprising 24 table forks, 12 teaspoons, 11 dessert spoons, 12 dessert forks, 2 small ladles, 6 egg spoons, 12 fish forks or "eaters", 12 fish knives, a carving knife and fork, 6 tablespoons, 2 butter knives, 12 soup spoons, 4 pickle forks, 12 mother-of-pearl handled dessert forks and eleven matching knives, 12 coffee spoons, one large rat tail ladle, two sugar tongs, another pair of ladles and an associated tea strainer and undertray, presented in an oak case fashioned as a George III games table, height 28 1/2 in., width 35 1/2 in., depth 18 in.
